some years ago when the machine were I work got the controller replaced they
put on the latest (at the time) fanuc om10 with conversational controller
can you believe that I have not used it to make more than 2 parts on all this
years? the problem is that on my opinion if you learn gcode before conversational
programming it is very hard to adapt to a system that is a bastard to follow and edit
Just my opinion but I like to take control of what the machine is doing
