I do not see vmlinuz-1 in the /boot directory.
I will try to compile again.

As for the dual boot, I already had NT server installed on an
extra computer. So I used Partition Magic to re-size the NT partition
so I could create the extended partition for Linux.

The boot loader is handled by Lilo. After loading Linux, Lilo was
aware of the NT partition.

I don't have a machine to control with this stuff yet, but I
figured I could work on this part while I save up for a mill.
