Smoke,

Don't forget that ALIGNMENT variations is why you're using the
coupling in the first place!

Backlash/windup and alignment are two DIFFERENT things!

I prefer the Bellows type in lighter duty and the slit from 4
directions in the heavier sizes/loads.

And I agree that usually the timing belt approach works better for
our type(s) of usage.
