Ian,
I'm glad you are happy with the design. I don't have any experience with EMC
but from what I hear on this list it can drive steppers pretty well. Maby
you should just settle with the speed you get. However it's always fun to
experiment a bit.
Yeah, I know, it can be a bit of a pain to set the currents correct but I
figured once it's done you don't change it very often so I didn't put more
work in it - will do in the next version 'tho. Besides I wanted to hold the
boardsize inside the freeware-version limit of Eagle.
