The Red Hat install program isn't very informative regarding wich files are
being installed - unlike Suse. I've got all the base packages installed now,
along with a few others, and the compile scripts have been run without any
errors. It's way past my bedtime, so I will have to leave playing with EMC
until the weekend now.

BTW 'makedepend must be run from a sun' Do you mean a Sun workstation ?
