There is a lot of blind-leading the blind here, but that's the way
with most progress.

The subject of coolant on aluminum is hotly debated around my area.
So a couple of weeks ago while attending EASTEC,(a large machinist
show near Boston, MA), just for fun I thought I would carry the
cooling question around, to the various vendors. I talked to dozens
fo manufactures of coolants and tools.

MY CONCLUSION, (someone could have reached a different conclusion,
based on hearing the same information was):

No coolant needed if there is 1) not much heat and 2) no trapped
chips.

Other related items:
-there were demonstrations of machining using high velocity air,
rather than coolant.

-Vacuum of chips through 3/4" goose-neck hoses, right at the tool
were shown.

- If you want to understand climb milling with aluminum, just try it
both ways.
(Climb milling with steel has been dangerious for me too.)
