Hello again yahoo@,
Did you also ask those who HAD the 5K machines? Machinists are a
funny group. They spend most of their time NEEDING to "worry" about
incredibly small details... And I think that after years of this, it
begins to "percolate" into other parts of their being...
All people speak best from their experience. What is it you intend to
DO with your machine? Maybe then, we could apply our collective
experience to solving the question of whether a certain type or class
of machine will likely work well for you...
For years, the "experts" said the bumblebee could not fly. The
bumblebee, apparently not having read these "distinguished reports",
continued about its daily routine, flying quite well despite
his "inherant" inabilities!
And then there's the one about the blind men and the elephant, which
also applies here...
Hope this helps.
Ballendo (who for years has been "doing" with what the "experts" say
can't do..)
P.S. The sherline motor is 1/2hp.
