Hello John,
My experience of the machines imported from the US to Latinamerica
is in 70 to 90 percent that they are still pretty expensive and totally
worn out. And for a one spot Index-Wells with partially blown GE550
control my former boss still paid 1993 14000Bucks. Each spare board was
280 Buckies more and we needed 4 of them.
The machines I had to service that came from anywhere
in Europe except Portugal were in decent shape and 30 percent cheaper
since the wall breakdown. Before the were more expensive but anyway
always well maintained.
Just my 3 cent opinion. Obviously somebody else has other experiences.
