Not-so-off-topic: rectifiers

When spec'ing a bridge rectifier for a linear power supply (say, using a
24V 10A transformer) is there any harm in using an over-spec'd one? Any
benefit? Prices for the square kind seem pretty flat from, say, 15A 50V to
50A 400V...
