I am also using Artisan 3.2. It does use a special board, but the output signals are TTL level step and direction for each of the four
axis drives. I'm not familiar with Dan Mauch driver boards. What are they, and where can I find out more about them? I am currently
considering the purchase of Digital Design Technologies' three axis microstepping driver box. It will run up to 3 amp motors and is quite
reasonably priced. I haven't actually seen one yet, so I don't know much more about it than this.
