This is hard to believe! Normally, particularly with something like redwood,
exiting the end-grain with any router or 2-flute mill-bit will come out 100%
clean! And, if sharp, only slight tear-out when coming out the "side" of a
board! I mill wood often with excellent results. Just crank it up to 3000+
RPM, and rotating the hand-wheels about as fast as you can by hand will do
fine!
