I too have used many large electrolytics over the years, and some are
many years old... Most have worked well.

I'll stand by my suggestion to "condition" large electrolytics of
unknown origin, tho... Far better to be safe than sorry, IMO.

P.S. Often it is how they are STORED which determines
their "aging".
