I really don't think this will work. I think that driver derives its
internal 5 V power by regulating down the raw DC input, so it may
not work at all due to voltage drop in the regulator. If it does
work, the power output from the steppers would be incredibly
low.

Unless this thing weighs at least 75 Lbs, you won't be able to use
the transformers, as this is likely a switching power supply, and
those transformers are designed for 25 KHz input, not 60 Hz.
There probably aren't 2 transformers, only one, and a filter
inductor. If this is an LHS-5 or LYS-5 model, those are, indeed,
switching supplies.
