Alan,
If your supplies are switching regulators, try putting them in series. I
often use old PC AT style power supplies and series the 5 volt outputs. Most
of these guys do at least 10 amps at 5V. 4 in series gives you 20V at their
rated amperage.
Of course they will have to be true floating output supplies before this
will work. But you can verify this with an ohm meter to make sure the 5V
negative lead isn't common to chassis ground.
