I also have to agree with you, Jon. When a lad is 16, there are two or three
years of high school ahead and then, most likely, college and getting out on
one's own. None of these events bode well for having the room to contain
"full sized" shop machines. In that situation, perhaps one of the desktop
machines (size of Sherline or Unimat) might be a better purchase for the
moment. But, unfortunately, he never said what he was planning on using the
machines for.
