I think it was in Model Airplane News 2-3 yrs back, an article about a
Top Gun competitor who worked at Boeing in the engineering dept.

He used their system to make EXACT scale landing gear for his model by
scaling the full size CAD file, and running the parts off in the R&D's
stereo lithography tank to make patterns for molding the struts.

~$40 million system to make 3 parts less than 4" long.

Must be nice to have access to that sort of toys <vbg>!
