Sorry I made a mistake on the price. They are £35.05 actually.
I missed the 5p <g>
J&L in Birmingham 0800 66 33 55
On offer this month BT40 in ER 16,25,32 or 40 sizes £35.05 each
Their part numbers:-
AITTH-60416J for the 16 ER
AITTH-60418A for the 25 ER
AITTH-60421E for the 32 ER
AITTH-60436C for the 40 ER
These are bare chucks with closer nut - no collets.
If you want collets get their catalogue and look for the imperial
range. They list a 1/2" collet [ 0.472 - 0.511 ] at £8.60
The metric equivilant 13 -12 is £12.64 but 13 -12 is the same size as
0.511 - 0.472 Try working that out !! When they come they are marked
13 - 12 !!!
Nice thing about ER chucks is you only need 4 collets to hold all the
popular imperial and metric cutters.
6 -7 will hold 1/42 as well, 9 - 10 will hold 3/8", 12 - 13 will hold
1/2" and 15 - 16 will hold 5/8"
As regards the ball screws someone is interesed in the Y and Z off
the Beaver but I have a load more of various sizes.
Contact me off list.
