Ahhhhh...damn...knew it was too easy...

Well, awright.
I was just going for that ultra clean look, having no extra wires in sight.

So, with that in mind, I got to thinking.
(**DANGER**)
Since the parallel port on this specific motherboard actually comes off
a header and travels via ribbon cable to the connector the external cable
goes to,
would it be feasible for me to strip out the 25th pin's wire and splice it
to
a +5V source from the computer's power supply?

That would keep things clean.
