or falling edge of the step signal. If you invert the signal, then it
will be effectively using the opposite edge it was using before. The
result is that it may move when the computer is merely reseting the
step signal for the next pulse and hasn't correctly set the direction
signal yet, rather than when the signal changes in the polarity that
the computer thinks meens "step now".
I think the step polarity is reversible in EMC, and perhaps other
programs as well.
