Yes,

I really thought it would be out already. This book game is tougher
than it looks (kinda like learning cnc<G>)

I've actually broken it into several books, gingery style. The first
is an overview, and should be out soon. The rest are detail oriented
on specific subjects.

I'd invite anyone to send me their "list" of what should be covered.

Can be in the form of book titles, chapter headings, subjects,
questions, etc.

P.S. Although I've got a fair library of books(and machine manuals)
on nc and cnc (from the late 50's on); I'm always interested in
hearing of good, or partly good books on the subject. Also in
receiving any old or unused machine manuals...

My observation of the books I've seen (including Crandell, Thyer,
Gibbs, Madison, Polywyka, Eames, Lynch; to name a few authors) is
that most are VERY good in a limited area, and fail or are truly
incorrect in others. In many, the line drawings are just plain wrong
(including recent textbooks!) so it's no wonder that so many are
confused.

This has also been a little humbling, as I'm sure that each of these
authors tried to get it completely right; and I DON'T want to add to
the mess...
