Hello there.
I am a new member of the group and hoping to get into cnc.
could anyone answer a few questions please?
I make miniature furniture and would like to use a small milling
machine ( perhaps the sherline 8 axis)and a rotary table to mold
doors , drawer fronts etc. and do some spiral work on legs etc.
I have been reading up on cnc and stepper motors /drivers. but
realise that I have lots to learn.
can anyone give the benefit of their experience regarding sherline
machines and their suitability for this kind of work, and also any
info on steppers and controlers to suit would be greatly appreciated.
Are there any good suppliers in the uk, I can't seem to see much on
the web. Also software, any reccomendations.
Thanks in advance.
Graham.
