Jon,
I understand about the starting from scratch, but have 1.5-1.7 K$ in
this setup and as much as I want to trash it, I'll first have to squeeze
a few hours of work out of it...
Anyway, as you are the first person I know that converted the MAXNC for
ball screws. if you have the time to make a few photo's and perhaps a
few part numbers ( lead screw material and supplier of the ball screws
you used) it would help a lot.
I was also in doubt about the anodize to anodize surface, and make sure
I keep a liberal amount of grease on these...
With such a large surface area, would Teflon strips do the trick !
