Umm, this may be a holdover from earlier versions.
Actually, I'm running the June release right now, I
haven't had much need to make any changes since.
The Tcl version of the user interface sounds like it
will be worth moving to, however. Also, I'm
fairly interested in adding a rotary axis.
I'm running with a monitor that is only happy at
640 x 480, although I came up with XF86Config
parameters that allow it to display at 800 x 600 and
1024 x 768, but the display is not clear and flickers
a bit at those resolutions. I'm not sure I want to
expose a good monitor to the shop environment.
As it is, I have pieces of Plexiglas to keep the spray
of chips from shooting right into the vent holes of
the monitor, but some of the little ones bounce off
stuff and get to the holes, anyway. Haven't had a
big ZAP yet, but it seems only a matter of time.
