Thanks for the reply Mariss! I'm using your Gecko 201 drives in this system.

I have most of the equipment put away for the night, so further testing will
have to wait 'til tomorrow. But, perhaps you've shown me my error right
here:
I have the step & direction lines connected as appropriate;
I have +5VDC connected to "Common";
I thought the 5V would ground to the "Power Ground", so I have no other
ground wires connected yet - which terminal should the 5V ground be
connected to?
