I most certainly DON'T play on the internet on that machine. But, I
OFTEN write programs at the machine, and leave EMC idling while
I go back and edit the program in the text editor, or re-run a program
that writes G-code with slightly different parameters. Then, hit a few
keys, and re-run it on the CNC and see if it is better. Really small
changes can be done in the editor that is part of the TkEMC interface,
but to change more than a couple of digits, I use EMACS.
