As I said DR-DOS is not really a multitasker but a task switcher.

You first pause the CNC Pro task, then task switch to the other command
line and do whatever you want (transfer files, edit, play Tetris, ...)
while it is paused. Then when you're done task switch back to CNC Pro and
resume the cut.
