DR-DOS will do this for DOS programs. It is a good task-switcher, but not
necessarily a good multitasker. I have had CNC Pro idling (paused) in one
task in DR-DOS while I task-switched to a text editor and did some editing,
then task-switched back to CNC Pro and resumed cutting.
