I've had this and at least one other program suggested. I'd like to stay
with Ahha for several reasons, not the least being familiarity. I'm
going to have enough of a learning curve setting up methods for
programming this hybrid without introducing yet another whole set of
variables. I'll go there if I have to, but want to try Ahha first. The
2nd reason for trying to stick with Ahha is threading. As far as I know,
Ahha is one of the very few programs that will run a lathe and read a
spindle encoder for threading. I lose a fair amount of work because I
can't thread efficiently.
