John: In MY engineering-experience, PRICE is a definite parameter often
outweighing fabrication and dimensional details! I have used BW "V-wheels"
on two plotters I have built, and spent enough money on either machine just
for the BW stuff to have paid for all the lead-screws, steppers,
stepper-drivers! Thomson is fine stuff. If ability to take loading is a
factor, the THK stuff, or HIWIN may-well be markedly superior! MHO.
