Yes the G210 with the pulse multiplier set to the full 10X does seem to
smooth out the pulse train and eliminate the stall problems. Unfortunately
it also kills your step dimension as it now acts like a full step drive so
you only have 200 positionable steps per revolution.
A pulse regenerator is an interesting idea. Would take more talent and
knowledge than I have to design it, but it may be just the ticket to clean
up the PC created pulse stream.
