Thanks for the reply.... I do have the Radio Shack book on power supplies,
some help. but not much... And yes both caps are the same, so shouldn't be
a problem, the reason I want to do this, is one, I have them in stock, and
two, the very large cap I need, is also expensive!
Now, what about transformers.... the one I am using has a ct and two end
taps.... when measure with a voltmeter, the ct and one end connection reads
28 vac, but the two end ones read, 32 vac. My question is, can one use any
combination of connection without being a problem?
