Hi, i had work simular to this. i used a pair of ground hardened squares and
used a very small taper, as the balls roll over the space they would drop
thru at different places into collection bins. The smaller the taper the
longer the distance it rolls before dropping thru. some of the sorting i did
the balls were .0005 size difference. Having the taper angle adjustable and
having the starting space size adjustable made setup easy. cul brian f.
