No definitly not. Vector can't thread. The lathe side is very limited.
For a good lathe program as well as the rest look at Dolphin.

Supports ALL the lathe functions and has a post processor for about
20 odd lathes, 30 odd mills and can be configured to what you need.
They will release the manual before you buy so you can see exactly
what you are getting.
