[That's interesting, Tony. Since Taig makes no mention of stocking any
metric collets (and didn't admit to having any when asked), I wonder if
this is really a 6mm collet or just the 1/4" collet with a little extra
squeeze. Using "Convert" (a free program from Josh Madison which is good for
translating all sorts of measurements:
http://www.joshmadison.com/software/convert/ ) I find that 6mm is pretty
close: 0.2362198". The 1/8" collet would likewise be a fairly good fit for
3mm (0.1181099"), although I haven't actually tried it.]
