Just tried a 6mm shank endmill in one of my 1/4" Taig collets - the
difference in diams is too much for the gripping range of the collet.
The next size down (7/32") is too small - 5.55625mm.

Quantum do actually list the 6mm collet as a separate line item on
their price list:

Taig must make them for him - unless he bores out the 7/32" ones
himself, which I doubt.
