Golly Jan,

I got to thinking that you were the fellow who sent me pictures of a Lathe you built.....
You were heading out for the weekend and I never did get a reply out indicating just how good that machine looks !

So, Nice job ! I was curious what that base was that you used though.....

Proof that you can use linear rails instead of hardened ways for sure !
