Thanks for the good info on shrinkage.
seems Jerry Seinfield didn't cover all
the bases. : )

I gave the idea of a 2-4 inch thick concrete bench with 2" square
holes all over, with 2" bridges. it seems it would cut down on the
overall wieght, still leave support and also holes for the vacum
system.
