I have a question about the acceleration parameter.
What does an acceleration parameter of 1000 sps really mean?
I'm assuming that sps is steps per second. Does that mean it will increase
the rate of pulses from 0/second to 1000/second over a one second period?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of writing some software on an
embedded platform that I have for controlling stepper motors, and I'd like
to understand how the pulse rate changes during acceleration. Is it linearly
interpolated or does it follow some type of curve?
Thanks
