I run EMC in steppermod , as I use Geckos , they take care of PID.
There was some talk about steppermod outputting a ragged pulse train,
but unless you're running at a very low resolution you will never
notice it.
My router/mill is 2000 an inch and is smooth in movement.

What is the benefit of freqmod.o if your controler has PID ?
