Dan,
Could you enlighten me on why we would derate the amps by 71.5%. I am in the
middle of setting up a sherline mill with a set of PowerMax II steppers with
a series rating of 2.8A. According to your statement, I should be running
them at ~2A. Wouldn't this reduce the torque by ~28% also?
