making DRO boards (was Re: Card, kit or schematic for Kuluga/Mauch DRO card

Hi Guys,

a little reviewing and it seems that this project uses the internal
slot for the ISA connection in a standard PC.

Although I am pretty sure you can adapt it to a PCI bus, it is laid
out around a ISA bus.

The problem with getting cards made is that this would be a press in
card into the PC motherboard. that means cutting a section to insert
into the slot.

since the circuit is so simple, I would propose 2 methods to get it
done.

#1, buy a prototype board from Jameco P/N 21531 or something
similar. then stuffing it and using jumper wires for connections.
These are going for a $22.95 plus shipping.

#2, cut out a NIC or other ISA card, have a small board made and then
bolt that onto the salvage board and jumper that board into the
correct pins.
