IntelliCAD reads .DWG and .DXF files. It seems to handle most flavors of
files stored by AutoCAD with out problems. I have read in many different
versions of AutoCAD files with no problem. I would be up the creek with out
a paddle so to speak if it did not since I no longer have access to AutoCAD.
IntelliCAD, either free or paid for, is a nice product with a user interface
similar to ACAD.

I also use TurboCADCAM which is not too bad, I just seem to have a mental
block on the user interface! I am way to used to typing in commands as in
ACAD but I am beginning to learn the TurboCAD interface. The CAM portion
seems pretty decent, at least for what I do with it.
