Not to labor the topic too hard, but Techno Isel's ballnuts are round on
their exterior and making one rotate would be as simple as making the screw
itself rotate. I gave that some thought but decided it wasn't necessary in
my layout. You would have to make a carrier to hold the nut inside the
bearings, and to give the preload adjust screw, which is external to the
nut, a place to ride. I think OD is 40 mm, pretty compact too.

The screws are rolled type, but error is given as .005"/ft non-cum, which
is really pretty good for rolled. The quality is excellent: with preload to
reduce axial play to near nil, nut still rides freely over the entire screw
