Re: Gecko wiring question

Well I started with 2 24V 10 amp transformers runn in series to give
me 48 volts. but these are rated at 110 volts.
The power as measured in my shop is 122 volts. So I ended up with
29.5 volts per transformer or 58.7 (as measured) in series. Then
converting to DC with the rectafier (58.7 * 1.414 = 83volts)(81.1 as
measured) By the numbers I'm supposed to only get 67.87 volts dc.
but b/c I have High voltage at my house I ended up with higher on the
out put. I'm sure it will drop as soon as I put a load on it, but
I'm happy. I'll see about a schematic and parts listing that I used.
and put it in the files under Jerry / power supply.

Jerry
