Do not hook any of the wires from the computer to term 1 or 2. Your ground
for the logic is the step and direction line. The optos turn on when the
step and direction pins are low (or ground) and the current flows from the
+5 V controller source. When the pins go high (+5 v) there is no potential
as both sides of the opto are now at +5 V and no current flows.
