But, is 20 uS always enough hold time? I have the ability to setup the
direction change up to
25.5 uS before a step pulse, and conversely, to hold off changing the
direction signal for
up to 25.5 uS after a step pulse. So, my "Mariss" switch might not be
necessary if the
hold time is put at the maximum. Anyway, the Mariss switch prevents the
direction from
changing at any time but the leading edge of the step signal. That
should certainly satisfy
this requirement.
