No the problem turnout to be a problem with the wires not making good
contact with the connectors.The encoders were fine. I emailed Tomaz off
line with how to check the connections.

Filipe,

This sounds very similar to the post that started 1/26/03 #56115
Camtronics/Gecko troubleshooting. It turned out there was problems
with some encoders.
