The new Sherline complete CNC system is the way to go if you don't
want to build the same system yourself for much less. Being able to
buy individual components, after research, put them together and have
them work is one of the advantages of choosing systems this small. If
I were making a recommendation, I would say to take the money you
have and purchase the best individual components available.

By the way, if you take your time, you can cut anything on a Sherline
you can cut on any other machine as long as it fits in the envelope.
