There should be something in the FAQ about this and it has been
discussed at length at various times. I think within the last 6
months if you do a search.

Generally, the voltage should be at least 10 times the voltage
listed on the motor nameplate, whatever that might be. If your
motors are 0.7 v then you are probably doing OK. If they are 4
v, then you need about 40 volts at least. I am assuming you have
NEMA 42 stepper motors.

Lambda is a very good name. Overkill, however. You don't need a
highly regulated power supply for steppers.
