The Gecko drives are used by many on the list. I would recommend them.

I use the model 210 for my X and Y and the 201 for my Z axis.

For stepper motors, I like the Superior Electric KM series KML091 or 092.

If you plan on cutting 3/4" plywood sheets in one pass, you may want the
KML092 series at 770 oz/in.
